Black Canvas is a fusion of all the great pure Rock bands with a twist of the modern rock scene thrown in the mix. We are a band of pure raw music with kick in the face riffs, piercing lead guitar breaks, and booming powerful vocals that really get you out of your seat!

Formed in the summer of 2004 ‘Black Canvas’ have performed a multitude of live gigs and now have a well established and ever increasing fan base.

Black Canvas has played at such venues as ‘Wolverhampton’s Little Civic and Civic Hall.’ Also appeared in ‘Do you wanna riot,’ hosted in the Civic Bar. Supporting some of the finest bands both in Britain, Europe and America.

We were engaged in the ‘Rock Academy’ competition, hosted by the ‘Chicago Rock Café.’ Having progressed to the regional finals as both heat and Area
Final winners.

Black Canvas has had the pleasure of being asked to attend numerous live interviews and acoustic performances on various radio shows. Currently the band is taking part in a show on Sky Television by a local producer which involved the recording of a live performance and live interviews.

We have been considered by many, to be one of the best live unsigned band in the West Midlands, continually putting on an highly energised performance, that really get the audience involved. We wish to uphold this reputation and forever more improve on our live performance.
